We aren't loving it: McDonald's serves fried dead lizard with French Fries to pregnant woman in Kolkata
The lizard was fortunately spotted before it was consumed
A Kolkata-based family’s trip to McDonald’s did not go as planned after they found a deep-fried lizard in a serving of fries.
According to reports, Priyanka Moitra took her daughter to the EM Bypass outlet of the fast-food chain where they ordered a portion of French fries and while tucking into them, the daughter found the reptile.
Moitra, who is pregnant, became sick and informed the store manager, who she claims was not apologetic about what transpired.
She then took a picture of the deep-fried lizard in the food and filed a complaint at the Phulbagan police station against the McDonald's outlet.
Raja Mani, a McDonald's official from Delhi told The Times of India, "A customer allegedly found a foreign body in their food. We take all reports of this nature very seriously and investigate them thoroughly."
