The incident, which reportedly took place on Saturday on Air India’s flight AI 131, was captured on video which went viral on Wednesday. The passenger was later arrested at Heathrow airport, reports said.

In the video shot on board, the passenger can be heard hurling abuses at the crew member and objecting to not being served more wine.

She claimed that she has worked for free for people from Asia as an international criminal lawyer.

In the video, the woman passenger can be heard saying, "I am working for all your people. The (expletives) Rohingyas, the (expletives) people of all Asia, for you, an international criminal lawyer. Don't get any money for it, by the way. But you can't give me a (expletives) glass of wine, is that correct."

According to a report in India Today, the woman's rant began when the cabin crew complained to the commander that the woman was too drunk. The commander then instructed the crew not to serve her more liquor.

According to a Times of India report, the woman had already consumed four quarter bottles of red wine.

"When she demanded yet another bottle, the crew declined. She then threatened to push over the dessert trolley. She saw an open bottle of wine on it and took it without permission,” a source was quoted as saying by the daily.
