The video caused quite an outcry among Twitter users, bringing it to the attention of the police.
A sub inspector has been suspended after a video of him getting foot massage from a man became viral drawing outrage.
Sub-Inspector Ram Yagya Yadav, posted at Mohanlalganj police station, was suspended by Senior Superintendent of Police Manjil Saini, on Monday.
A video of Yadav getting a foot massage from a man while he was speaking on his phone, inside the police station was posted on the social media drawing angry reactions.
However, police said it was not clear whether the person giving the foot massage was a complainant or a detainee although the tweet by ANI of the video, claims that the man was actually there to lodge a complaint.
Circle officer has been handed the inquiry into the matter and given two weeks time to submit his report.
