Bollywood actress Sunny Leone's condom commercial has recently stoked fresh controversy with senior CPI leader Atul Anjan's remarks that her advertisements are vulgar and one of the reasons behind the increase of rape cases in India.
Although he later apologised for his statement but said that he is against the language spoken in the condom commercials. He said, "Ads should be sober, Sunny Leone’s ads are vulgar. I am not anti-condoms, but the language used in the ad is not right. Supporters of porn & Sunny Leone are raising objections, I apologise but I don't stand for such ads."
