Congress leader Rahul Gandhi was seen playing cricket with students in Haryana's Rewari district after his helicopter made an emergency landing because of bad weather.

The incident took place on Friday when Rahul was returning from poll-bound Mahendragarh in Haryana after addressing a rally in place of his mother Sonia Gandhi. Due to the bad weather, his helicopter was forced to abort its landing in Delhi and had to be landed at KLP College in Rewari.

In a 30-second video shared online by the All India Mahila Congress, he is seen enjoying a game of cricket in the nets. "After the public meeting at Mahendragarh, @RahulGandhi's chopper could not take off due to bad weather. Meanwhile while the weather returned to normal, he played gully cricket at Rewari with kids", the caption reads.

Rahul spent around 15 minutes with the kids and clicked pictures with them. Senior Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad and Haryana state party chief Kumari Selja had also accompanied him for the rally.
