Accompanied by CM Raman Singh, he visited the Nandan Van Jungle Safari where he was captured clicking a tiger.

In another picture, the tiger is seen posing with PM Modi for a picture.

While addressing the gathering, PM Modi recalled former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee's contribution in the formation of the state. He also appreciated CM Singh's 13 year long service to the state.

Describing the jungle safari as CM's 'pet project', he also added that there is a great scope for tourism in Chhattisgarh.
