Enraged by the BJP president Amit Shah targeting Congress chief Sonia Gandhi over the VVIP chopper scam, women activists organised a protest on Friday and set his effigy on fire.

The activists were led by Bhopal district unit president and corporator Raisa Malik and former spokesman of state Congress unit, Arif Masood among others. They raised slogans against the BJP president and set his effigy ablaze at Charbatti Square in Budhwara area.

Shah had yesterday attacked Gandhi and asked to name the bribe-takers in the Rs 3600 crore AgustaWestland chopper deal.
