"Lalu and Nitish both are frauds. Both have cheated me. Nitish and Lalu came to me and asked to build a third front which was supposed to be anti-BJP and anti-Congress but when I took it further, both of them went along with Congress without even telling me", said Mulayam Singh. "Congress is the very party that evoked Emergency in the country and had jailed all socialists," he added.

Further in his speech he accused the two leaders of the grand alliance for playing the politics of lies. "Nitish Kumar has no right to root against the BJP as he took the latter's support for 12 years and now all of a sudden he has begun to abuse the BJP", he said.

Asking for votes, Mulayam Singh urged the voters that whether or not SP is given the full mandate, voters must give at least as many seats to SP because no government can be formed without its support.

"We will support the party that is ready for development in Bihar the way we have developed UP, keeping in mind every class of people", he added.
