A Village Revenue Officer (VRO) working in Visakhapatnam district of Andhra Pradesh was trapped by Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) for allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs 50,000.

V Mutyalu, VRO of Gudivada village in Ravikamatham mandal of Visakhapatnam was caught red-handed by the ACB Officials in his private office room while demanding and accepting a bribe of Rs 50,000 from a complainant for doing an official favour, a ACB release said in Hyderabad.

The case is under investigation.
