Managing traffic on road can be a hectic and tiring job but there are cops who can find innovative ways to make people aware of the rules.
A video of a traffic cop from Chandigarh is going viral, thanks to his quirky way of managing the traffic.
ASI Bhupinder Singh become a social media star when he used music and lyrics of Daler Mehndi’s famous song “Bolo Tara Ra Ra” to deliver lessons on traffic rules and regulations.
In the past, he has penned down several songs on various issues, including drunken driving and road safety. Bhupinder said his efforts were to spread awareness through songs, which catch everyone’s attention. “People listen to music and surely learn something from it,” he said.
Through the song, Singh also spreads awareness about the new Motor Vehicle Act and if people don't follow them, they will have to pay a hefty fine.
His video caught the eyes of the original singer Daler Mehendi. "I am glad that my music is used by Traffic police to inspire people to follow rules", he wrote on Twitter.
