Militants shot dead a villager after kidnapping him from the border district of Poonch, police said today.
 
The bullet-riddled body of Khursheed Ahmed was found in a forest belt near Mohra Bachie in Surankote teshil of the district last night, they said.
 
A group of three militants had barged into his house in Mohra Bachie village and kidnapped him on September 4.
