A senior journalist and former resident editor of the New Indian Express PS Sundaram passed away here today after a prolonged illness.
            He was 66 and is survived by wife, two sons and a daughter.
            Before joining the Indian Express, Sundaram also worked in Telugu and English newspapers.
            The Andhra Pradesh Union of Working Journalists (APUWJ) condoled the death of Sundaram.
            K Sreenivas Reddy, secretary general of Indian Journalists Union (IJU), APUWJ president D Somasundar, general secretary Y Narender Reddy and former president of the APUWJ D Amar condoled the death of Sundaram and said he strived for the welfare of the working journalists in the state.
