In a message dedicated to bravehearts of Pulwama terror attack, Rajya Sabha MP Subhash Chandra on Saturday said that the stories of the sacrifice and valour of these jawans will inspire the nation for centuries.

"The entire nation is grieving that those who have gone will never return. But the stories of their valour will inspire the nation and its coming generations for centuries," Mr Chandra said.

"There is anger in the entire country. The fire of vengeance is burning in the hearts of people. I am confident that as the Prime Minister (Narendra Modi) has assured, India will destroy the terrorists, their masters and their bastion," the Rajya Sabha MP added.

Forty CRPF personnel were martyred on Thursday when a suicide bomber of Pakistan-based terror group Jaish-e-Mohammad rammed his explosive-laden vehicle into the convoy carrying paramilitary personnel in Jammu and Kashmir's Pulwama district.

In his response to the ghastly attack on CRPF jawans, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Friday that terrorists have "committed a grave mistake" and they will "pay a heavy price" for this.

Modi said he knew that the "blood of the people is boiling" and promised that "a befitting reply will be given to the perpetrators of the heinous attack and their patrons."

Again on Saturday, the Prime Minister vowed that each drop of tear shed in Pulwama terror attack would be avenged.

"I want to assure each family who lost their loved one that each drop of tear will be avenged (aasu ka pura pura jawab liya jayega)," Modi said in a speech in Maharashtra's Dhule.

"Ours is a new India with new methods and policies, and the world will experience this now. Those who spray bullets or those who provide guns and bombs to target our soldiers, will not be spared. We will not allow them to sleep in peace," he thundered.
