Advocating the need for amalgamation of advanced space and astronomy technology in the development of country's economy, President Pratibha Patil today said that upcoming launch of Astrosat is a good move.     Astrosat is India's first dedicated astronomy satellite and is scheduled for launch this year. Speaking at an inaugural function of a national level workshop in Rajsamand district, Patil stressed on the need to use the platform of advance space and astronomy for the assistance of the country's economy.     "To ensure food security space technology can play a vital role, and the main challenge before the country is the environment management and monitoring of climate change," said Patil.     She also suggested to make disaster warning and response strength to be of high quality so that we can face challenges effectively, an official said.
