Urban Haat, a concept of the Union Textiles and Handicraft Ministry, has been set up in Hazaribagh to encourage rural artisans and Self Helf Groups (SHG).Located near the Patna-Ranchi road with 50 stalls, production hall, seven food courts, guest House, Design Centre and Cafeteria, the haat which was inaugurated yesterday covers an area of 9.75 acres of land, selected by the district administration, according to official sources here today.The Centre has provided 70% of the Rs five crore project and the rest borne by Jharkhand, the sources said.
