Upset for ‘soiling his pants,’ Rajasthan man brutally tortures own children, arrested

They say that a child’s cry can melt any heart. But not of Chain Singh Ravat. A video has surfaced online showing the father-of-five brutalising his children.

Resident of Rajasmand district in Rajasthan, Ravat’s inhuman deed was recorded by his brother, when he was mercilessly thrashing his kids.

In the disturbing video of 1 minute and 30 seconds, the heartbreaking cries of the children have no effect on the angry man. The man was furious as the child had soiled his pants. 

He decided to give them a lesson. The young boy was tied from the roof by his neck. Ravat is seen thrashing the kid with a long stick. The daughter is also not spared. She keeps on crying inconsolably, trying to hide by facing the wall, while the 32-year-old beats her black and blue. 

The resident of Futia village has now been arrested. The arrest has been made under the Juvenile Justice Act. 

The beating incident took place two days ago after the video went viral. The Child Rights Commission of Rajasthan has also taken cognizance of the matter and sent a team. The neighbours said that Ravat was a habitual offender and would regularly beat his children.

The Rajasthan incident comes days after a father in Bengaluru was arrested for thrashing his 10-year-old son.

The father mercilessly beating his 10-year-old son was recorded on camera by his mother. The incident took place nearly three months ago, but it came to light recently.

The man has been identified as Mahendra from Kengeri in Bengaluru. The 32-year-old works at an IT consultancy firm, The News Minute reported. 

In the disturbing video, the man repeatedly shouts at the terrified child – ‘will you lie?’ The child keeps on crying, while the father pushes, shoves him and ruthlessly thrashes him.

‘Mahendra thrashed his son for skipping tuition and not completing his homework on time. The boy is said to have lied about these things. He told his wife Shilpa to record the video and show it to the boy the next time he lies,’ a Kengeri police official was quoted as saying by The News Minute.
