UPSC declares results for Combined Medical Services Exam at upsc.gov.in.
The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has declared the final results of Combined Medical Services (CMS) exam 2018. The UPSC has announced the final results on the official website. All the candidates can check their results for the Combined Medical services Part 1 on the UPSC official website i.e. upsc.gov.in.
The Computer-Based CMS exam (Part-1) was scheduled on the on 22nd July 2018 and the Personality Test (Part - II) was held from November 2018 to January 2019.
According to the official notification, in 2018, a total of 440 candidates have been recommended for appointment."The offer of appointment to the provisional candidates will not be issued till the Commission verifies the original documents awaited from such candidates. The provisionality of these candidates will remain valid only for a period of six months from the date of declaration of Final result. In case the candidate fails to submit the requisite documents in original as required by the Commission within this period, their candidature will be cancelled and no further correspondence would be entertained in this regard." However, UPSC had called out to fill 504 vacancies in 2018.
The exam was conducted for appointment of following posts:
-Assistant Divisional Medical Officer in the Railways
-Assistant Medical Officer in Indian Ordnance Factories Health Service
-Junior Scale Posts in Central Health Service
The appointment of selected candidates will be done on the basis of the following categories:
-General-218 candidates (including 07 PWD candidates)
-Other Backward Classes- 207 candidates (including 07 PWD candidates)
-Scheduled Castes (SC)-10 candidates (including 04 PWD candidates)
-Scheduled Tribes (ST)- 05 candidates

3. Click on Final Result
4. Candidate will be directed to a new link
5. PDF file list of selected candidates will be displayed
6. Check your name and other details
7. Download and take print out of the same for future references
