"Jharkhand people wanted a stable government and they will get it. Jammu and Kashmir results have also come, which are unexpected," Paswan said, while crediting Narendra Modi for BJP's victory. The BJP's success in Jharkhand comes on top of its victory in Maharashtra and Haryana in the recent assembly elections after the stupendous victory in Lok Sabha polls.

In Jammu and Kashmir, the party had more than doubled its seats from 11 in 2008 to 25 now.

Meanwhile, asked about the impact of Janata Parivar in forthcoming Assembly polls in Bihar, he said that the alliance among the (Janata Parivar) leaders may not take shape. "The leaders (within Janata Parivar) will not recognise each other," he claimed.
