An under construction building collapsed at Tilak Nagar, Ajmer, Rajasthan around 5.15 pm on Friday. Four persons were reported to be trapped under the debris. One of them died after evacuation.

These four workers were working on the first floor of the under-construction building when the RCC roof of the structure collapsed burying the workers underneath.

On receiving the information, two search and rescue teams of National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), along with search dog and other equipments were rushed to the incident site at 5.40 pm to save lives of the victims trapped under the debris.

During the search & rescue operations, the NDRF team rescued two victims. Besides, two victims were already rescued by the local civil authorities before the arrival of the teams. According to a News18 report, one of the rescued victims died.

The remaining injured victims were admitted into Jawaharlal Nehru Hospital. A thorough search was conducted by NDRF to confirm that no other person is trapped.
