Two NDFB militants were held by security forces in Assam's Chirang district today, official sources said.

   
The militants were apprehended by patrolling CRPF personnel and handed over to the police. The militants have been identified as Uday Basumatary and Minu Basumatary.

   
The security forces recovered a pistol and some extortion notes from the militants, sources added.
