Two militants shot dead in Kashmir
The bodies of the slain militants, believed to be foreigners, were recovered this morning from a house in Poshnad-Kreeri, where they were killed by the security forces, police said.
Two militants were killed in an overnight gunbattle with security forces in Baramulla district of North Kashmir.The bodies of the slain militants, believed to be foreigners, were recovered this morning from a house in Poshnad-Kreeri, 55 kms from here, where they were killed by the security forces, police said.The encounter was initiated by the militants by opening fire at a search party of special operations group of local police and troops of 29 Rashtriya Rifles last evening.
Police is ascertaining the identity and group affiliation of the slain militants.
