Two Jaish-e-Mohammad militants were killed and an army jawan injured in an overnight encounter with security forces in Sopore, police said today.
            The gun battle broke out at Lalid-Sopore during search operation, 60 km from here, last evening. An army jawan was also injured in the gun battle that was continuing when last reports came in, they said.
            Security forces had yesterday killed four militants, believed to be foreigners, in the dense Hamam-Nardagan forests in Rafiabad, 65 km from here. An army jawan was injured in the gun battle.
            Identity of the slain militants and their group affiliation was being ascertained. Four AK 47 rifles, a UBGL (under barrel grenade launcher) and other arms and ammunition were recovered from the slain militants.
