Two four-storey buildings in Madhavnagar area in Ataladara locality and one in Madhavpark area on Tandalja Road collapsed today morning, though nobody was hurt, official sources said.
Madhavnagar is the same area where Block Numbers 10 and 11 housing 28 families had collapsed on August 28, in which 11 people were killed.
Though two more blocks, number 18 and 19 located in the Madhavnagar collapsed today, residents of these flats located in these two buildings had vacated them a couple of days ago, after cracks developed on the walls of both these buildings.
Families staying in Madhavpark on Tandalja Road were forcibly evacuated 24 hours ago fearing it might collapse any time.
Vadodara Municipal Corporation fire brigade chief H J Tapariya said that the debris is being removed from both sides.
Officials said that action will be initiated against guilty after investigations.
This is the second major incident of building collapse being reported from the city since last month.
