Carcasses of two female elephants were found in Anantapur reserved forest, 55 kms from Dhenkanal, Orissa  today, forest officials said.The elephants aged about 20 years and 10 years, were found rapped in electric wire, an eyewitness said. According to forest officials, there was no overhead high tension electric wire near the place, where the bodies were found. But a solar fencing system existed there.Such a big animal like elephant could not be killed if it came in contact with a solar fence, he said. After receiving the information, the Divisional Forest Officer (DFO) rushed to the spot to ascertain the cause of the death, they said.
