Two people drowned today when a boat capsized in Sindh river in Jammu and Kashmir's Ganderbal district, police said.
 
The incident happened when the boat carrying six people, who were on their way from Anchar to Shalbugh, was hit by a wave following which it sank into the river, police said.
 
The bodies of the two were fished out, while four others were rescued by police and locals, they said.
 
In a separate accident near Captain Morh in Ganderbal district, a truck skidded off the road and fell into a 300-feet-deep gorge.
 
The truck driver is feared to be dead and efforts are on to retrieve his body, police said.
