Two bikers killed in accident

Two bikers were killed today after a truck fell on their motorcycle in Bihar's Katihar district, a police officer said.

The mishap took place near Musapur bazar when a speeding truck containing a consignment of cold drinks lost control and overturned in a ditch dragging a bike with two occupants, Kodha police station in-charge Anuj Kumar said.

One of the bodies have been recovered, while another was entangled in the truck, he said.

Efforts were on to ascertain the identity of the victims, Kumar said.

The truck driver and cleaner escaped from the spot, the police officer added.
