Police today claimed to have cracked the twin grenade attacks that took place at Batamaloo and Baramulla in Kashmir in August this year by arresting two Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) operatives."Srinagar police cracked the twin blast attacks at Baramulla and Batamaloo by apprehending the perpetrators of the blasts," a police spokesman said.He said a Special Investigation Team (SIT) yesterday apprehended the two LeT operatives who had carried out the twin blasts on August 25, resulting in death of two BSF jawans in the Baramulla attack. There was no casualties in the Batamaloo grenade blast.The Lashkar operatives have been identified as Irfan Ashraf Dar and Ali Mohammad, both residents of Sopore town in Baramulla. The spokesman said during questioning, the arrested duo revealed that Lashkar militant 'Muza Molvi' had provided them the grenades and directed them to carry out blasts in crowded markets.The arrested operatives have been handed over to Baramulla police for further investigations
