Truck collides with jeep in Bihar; 4 policemen killed

Four policemen, including a sub-inspector were killed and another was injured when a truck collided head-on with the police jeep near Pasraha police station in Bihar's Khagaria district.The accident occurred last night when the policemen were on patrol duty on NH 31 between Purnia and Barauni, police said today.The dead were identified as sub-inspector RP Yadav, constables Shubhankar Kumar, Sanjeevan Prasad and driver Vinod Rai, the police said.The injured was admitted to a government hospital in Khagaria where his condition was stated to be critical.
