HYDERABAD: Wheels of a local train came off the track at Yakatpura railway station here on Wednesday, but no one was hurt in the incident.
Four to five wheels of the Multi-modal Transport System (MMTS) train between Lingampalli and Faluknuma stations came off the tracks during morning rush hour at Yakatpura railway station, railway police said.
The wheels were being fitted and after necessary repairs the train service will be restored soon, they said.
"An investigation will be undertaken on how the wheels came off the track," a railway police official said.
The train was moving slowly otherwise it would have been a major incident, he said.
