To help realise your dreams will forget mine: Rahul Gandhi

NaMo (Narendra Modi) may chant stinging language against him but RaGa (Rahul Gandhi) is not interested in joining the chorus. He would rather ignore it and concentrate on his work of fulfilling people’s dreams and even to forgo his own dreams.

Speaking at a rally in Salumber on Wednesday, Rahul Gandhi without mentioning Narendra Modi said, “The opposition has been attacking us, saying we have done this we have done that but my philosophy is different we will not accept that and continue doing our work.”

The Gandhi scion said, “Country’s dream is my dream. Mere jo apne sapne hain, unhe main kuchalna chahta hoon; aapke jo sapne hain, unhe main apna banana chahta hoon. (I want to crush my own dreams and instead own your dreams).”

Modi has been constantly attacking UPA government and mainly PM Singh and Gandhi family. Just a day ago, he described Congress as ABCD of corruption in which D stands for Damad ka Karobar apparently pointing to alleged land deals of Sonia Gandhi’s son in law Robert Vadra.

But, the young Congress leader chose not to get into verbal slugfest with Modi with an anecdote. “There is a story on Guru-Shishya Parampara where a man abused his guru before disciples who questioned ‘why the teacher remained silent.’ He said ‘He brought a gift for me, which I did not accept.’”

Rahul apparently referring to Modi’s jibes but without naming him said “Maje lo, gali do, jo gussa hai, woh aapka hai, hum use nahin lenge. (Let them enjoy, abuse. Their anger is yours, we will not accept it).”

But, what appears to be a dig at Modi, Rahul said, “Vipaksh ko gussa hai ki garib ki shakti Congress ke saath hai aur Hindustan ke garib ke khilaf ladai kabhi jeeti nahin ja sakti. (Opposition is angry that the poor people are with Congress and fight cannot be won against the poor of India).”
