The Tibetans here will take out a rally at Mcleodganj on March 10 on the golden jubilee of the 1959 unsuccessful uprising against the Chinese Government.

Phurbu Tsering, secretary of Tibetan Parliamentary Secretariat said, on the day observed as Tibetans' National Uprising Day, a rally would be organised by Tibetan exile parliament.

It is in memory of the failed uprising against China in 1959 after which Tibetan spiritual leader, the Dalai Lama fled to India.

The rally would start from Mcleodganj bus stand and conclude at Tsuglakhag, the main temple of the exile community.
