At least three people were killed and two others were injured when a man opened fire with an AK 47 inside the court complex in Hazaribagh, Jharkhand, on Tuesday.

The incident took place at around 11 am.

According to reports, the assailant fired 30 rounds, and his target, gangster Sushil Shrivastava, died along with an aide on the spot.

Two others were injured in the complex but one of them reportedly died in the hospital.

Sushil Srivastava had been reportedly in jail for the last five years on charges of extortion. He was attending court for the hearing in his case.
