Three killed in ferry boat capsize off Fort Kochi
ADGP BS Muhammed Yasin is in charge of rescue operations.
A boat carrying 35 passengers capsized off Fort Kochi on Wednesday resulting in the death of three people, including one woman.
The boat was on its way to Vypeen island and collided with a fishing boat at around 1:45 pm. 10 passengers have been rushed to the hospital. 17 have reportedly been rescued.
ADGP BS Muhammed Yasin is in charge of the operations. The Navy is reportedly helping the police with the rescue operations.
