Thane: Two newborn girls found abandoned, one dead
The police found two abandoned new born baby girls here today from two different locations, sources said.
In the first incident, the highly decomposed body of a new born baby girl wrapped in a blanket, was found in a marsh near the Korum Mall. The body has been sent for post mortem, the police said.
In another incident, a female child was found abandoned in Dahisar Mori near a petrol pump, wrapped in a green petticoat, the police said.
The child is being treated at Kalwa Civic Hospital, the police said.
