The terrorists captured in the terror plot against the country are now proving to be a threat to the common prisoners. Intelligence agencies fear that the terrorists in the jails across the country are converting the common prisoners into jihadis.

The Home Ministry has decided that soon all the states will be asked to separate the terrorists from the inmates and create a separate jail for the terrorists who are being punished in different jails across the country. To keep common prisoners away from them.

The Ministry has decided that a high-security prison will be created in every state and all the terrorists would be shifted to those jails. According to the sources, there have been many such cases in the last few days, in which terrorists are either terrorizing common prisoners or have turned many of them into jihadis.

Worrying Trend
Many Khalistani terrorists in Punjab prisons have been found to be inciting the other jailbirds against the country and brainwashing them. According to intelligence agencies, J&K jails are at the risk of the highest radicalisation.

The government is serious about creating a high-security prison in all the states. According to an officer posted in the Home Ministry, terrorists have been kept in many jails of the country including Srinagar, Jammu and Delhi's Tihar Jail.

The intelligence agencies also mentioned that it was seen that some of the common prisoners living in close proximity with the terrorists in these jails also became terrorists after coming out of the jail.

Common prisoners become friends with these terrorists. Many times terrorists introduce the ordinary prisoners with their mastermind. As soon as they come out of the jail, these common prisoners that were lodged in prisons under minor offenses become dangerous terrorists.

According to intelligence agencies, the risk of the highest radicalization is from the jails of Srinagar and Jammu. Last year, when the National Investigation Agency (NIA) raided the Central Jail in Srinagar and conducted a large-scale search operation, the prison officials discovered the Pakistani flag, posters of Lashkar and Hizbul and several other jihadis.
