Sources said four unknown terrorists abducted Constable Javaid Ahmad Dar on gunpoint and whisked him to an unknown destination.
The terrorists were traveling in a car when they abducted Dar outside his home at 9.30 pm on Thursday.
A massive hunt has been launched to track down the kidnappers and rescue the cop.
