Ten persons were injured after clash between families of two communities over a land dispute in Mehemdabad taluka of Kheda district today, police said.

The incident took place in Raska village of Mehemdabad, when one Mohammad Miya Malek along with his family members entered into an altercation with one Somabhai Tadpada over a piece of land in the village.

According to police, both the groups attacked each other with sticks and sharp weapons, following which six persons of the Tadpada group and four of Malek group were injured.

They have been shifted to a government hospital for treatment, police said.

A complaint has been filed by Tadpada against 11 men of Malek group, police said adding that so far nobody has been arrested and further probe was on.
