Temperature drops to season's lowest in Mumbai

Mumbai is finally shivering in chill. Friday was the coldest day this December, with minimum temperatures – from Santacruz – recording 14.1 degree Celcius. While weathermen claim that clear skies and northerly winds are responsible for the chill, the denizens are finding comfort in sweaters, shawls and windcheaters.On Friday, Colaba the maximum temperature of 31.2 degree Celcius while the minimum recorded was 19.3 degree Celcius, which was lower than that recorded on Thursday which was 20.5 degree. Last December, the lowest recorded was 12 degrees Celsius.
