The Telangana government is planning to invite spiritual leader Dalai Lama for the inauguration of 'Buddha Vanam' (Buddha garden) project in the city.
Telangana IT and Panchayat Raj Minister KT Rama Rao said this during a meeting with an official of Dalai Lama Centre for Ethics and Transformative values from Massachusetts Institute of Technology. (MIT), a state government release said.
A new facility of the Dalai Lama Centre is proposed to be set up in Hyderabad, the release said.
