To recognise their invaluable services, city-based Eklavya Education Foundation will award seven teachers across six different categories on Monday.

The award ceremony will be held at Ahmedabad Management Association (AMA).

The selection process involved aspects like creativity, innovativeness in teaching methods and students' interest level while learning under a specific teacher.

Narendra Pandya, a faculty member at AMA and one of the members of the jury for the awards, said. "After short-listing applicants, personal interviews were carried out by jury members to select the best for each category", he added.

Former chief justice of Gujarat high court, BJ Diwan was the chairman and IIMA Prof Rakesh Basant was the vice-chairman of the jury.
