Teachers, or candidates, wishing to take up teaching in secondary classes as a profession, will get the study material in the coming few days so that they can prepare for the upcoming Teachers Aptitude Test (TAT).

The test is now compulsory for people seeking, or carrying out, a teacher's job in the secondary classes.

Speaking to DNA, principal secretary of the education department, Hasmukh Adhia said: "We are in the process of formulating the exam pattern and syllabus for TAT. It will be out in one or two days."

After the syllabus is out, the teachers will have to search for the study material, on logical reasoning, general knowledge and other topics, by themselves. Adhia also shared that the examination will be conducted anytime in July-August.

It must be recalled that a private website had earlier lured the candidates by promising to provide the syllabus of TAT.

"We have filed a police complaint against the site for providing fake assurances and misleading candidates as we ourselves have not yet declared the syllabus," informed Adhia.
