His arrest followed a complaint by some parents that their children had been sexually harassed after class hours, police said.
Angry parents had gone to the school on Friday and reportedly beaten up the Urdu teacher, Nazmin after their wards complained of the man's behaviour.
Police said Nazmin coaxed a few girls weak in the subject to stay back after school hours on the pretext of taking special classes. He then used to show them pornographic pictures downloaded on his mobile phone and force them to perform these acts, police said.
He was caught red handed by a lady teacher, when she came back to school after class hours to take some books, police said, adding that she then informed the parents about it.
The headmaster, when informed about it, said he was unaware of incidents of sexual abuse, but that he had pulled up the master on a few occasions for beating up students.
