GUWAHATI: Tarun Gogoi was on Sunday sworn in as chief minister of Assam for the second successive term at the Raj Bhavan here.
    
Governor Lt Gen (retd) Ajai Singh administered the oath of office and secrecy to Gogoi at a simple function.
 
Gogoi, 70, is heading a coalition government led by the Congress and supported by the Hagrama faction of the Bodoland People's Progressive Front, Nationalist Congress Party and Independents.
 
He was the only one to take the oath.
 
Later, he said a list of ministers would be finalised soon and expansion could take place once the new government proves its majority.
