Holi revelry has claimed the life of a tailor, who was stabbed to death by a group of people in south-east Delhi when he objected to throwing of colour at a woman, police said on Thursday.
   
Riasuddin was on his way to the tailoring shop where he was working along with his employer's family when the incident
took place in New Friends Colony on Wednesday, a senior police official said.
    
A group of men celebrating Holi threw colour on a woman who was accompanying him to which the young tailor objected to, the official said.

An altercation followed and in a fit of rage, one among the group stabbed Riasuddin in the abdomen.
    
The victim was rushed to a nearby hospital where he breathed his last.
    
A case of murder has been registered at the New Friends Colony police station.
