As soon as Indian Air Force pilot Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman returned home from Pakistan on Friday, there was celebration all over the country. While some took social media to express their joy, others glued to their TV set to watch the joyous moment. 

Wearing blue blazer and grey khaki trouser, he crossed over into India from the Attari-Wagah border at 9:20 PM. 

To make this historic moment unforgettable, Surat's saree makers have come up with saree having prints of IAF pilot's journey. 

The idea of has been appreciated by the buyers and this saree has become talk of the town. This unique saree has been created by Annapurna dyeing mill as their token of gratitude for Wing Commander Abhinandan.

This is not the first time such unique sarees have flooded market. During Pulwama attack, saree makers came up with Army-themed design and donated the amount which they received after selling to martyred soldiers’ families

Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman received a rapturous welcome at the Attari border as the IAF pilot in Pakistan's custody was handed back. Just as the IAF pilot crossed over, he received a hug from Indian security officials in scenes which were emotional and highly-charged. Chants of  'Bharat Mata ki Jai' echoed in the night sky over the border. Thousands of people waited for hours at the Attari-Wagah border to greet the IAF officer. Waving the tricolour, they kept chanting slogans praising his bravery.
