Supreme Court in its order in the case involving Bandekar Bros Pvt Ltd on Tuesday refused to set aside its earlier order saying that ore extracted after 2007 in Goa is a property of the state. The state government has already started e-auctioning 15 million tonnes of the ore which was extracted after 2007.

A senior GMOEA official said this statement was issued to repel the notion that yesterday's order was detrimental to the mining industry in the state.
