Donning an Anna Hazare cap, Congress MP from North Mumbai Sanjay Nirupam, who faced protesters in suburban Vile Parle today, said he supported the Gandhian's movement on the issue of corruption."I support Anna's movement as far as corruption is concerned. Because this is a big issue, it is a big cause and it really affects the whole nation, including myself," he told PTI."I am for a strong, effective and a result-oriented Lokpal Bill but I don't believe in this deadline business. This is too much," Nirupam said, referring to Hazare giving a deadline of August 30 to the government to pass the Jan Lokpal bill."There is a procedure in our country to enact a law. Right now, the draft of the bill is with the Standing Committee. We all should try to pressurise the panel to accept our suggestions, including those of Anna to draft an effective Lokpal Bill," he said.
