The court asked the police to inform it about the status of the probe and said it will look into it if required.

The court also said that if the police have something new to say they can do in an additional status report which has to be filed within two weeks.

Delhi police informed the court that the investigation is taking time because other international foreign agencies are also probing the matter.

The next hearing is scheduled on September 21.

Earlier on August 19, Delhi's Patiala House Court pulled up the Delhi police for delaying the de-sealing of the hotel suite, in which Sunanda Pushkar was found dead.

Sunanda Pushkar, wife of Congress leader Shashi Tharoor, was found dead at a suite in a five star hotel in South Delhi on the night of January 17, 2014.
