Student stripped naked, beaten up for questioning seniors over college fund raising event

In a case of ragging, a student was allegedly stripped naked and tortured by former students of St Paul's College at Armhast Street in Kolkata, The Times of India reported.

The incident occurred on May 17.

According to the report, the students had organized a fundraiser with the help of former students, who were dealing with the account created for the raising of funds.

“On May 17, the victim, who is a first year student, enquired about the expenses of the event after which he was allegedly beaten up and stripped naked by the ex-students. They allegedly recorded the whole incident and spread the video. The victim can be seen crying and trying to hide,” the report added.

However, a complaint has yet to be registered even though the student attempted to end his life, but failed.
