Banking and ATM  services in all the 37 branches of the State Bank of India (SBI) in Malda and South Dinajpur district was affected today as the officers abstained from work protesting the suspension of one of their colleagues, SBI sources said.     The SBI officers association alleged that Subrata Mondal an officer posted in Malda was suspended by the bank management in a haste without any inquiry.      No work was carried out in any of the 37 branches of the SBI in Malda and South Dinajpur district and also ATM services were also affected due to officers abstaining from work.      The officer's union threatened to intensify their agitation if the suspension was not lifted immediately.
